Wonderful little gem by the sea
My wife and I recently spent a delightful few days at this lovely little villa in Millendreath. Just two minutes walk to a secluded beach, where there is a super little cabin/bar - excellent for breakfast or an evening meal. There's also a little pizza cabin, which serves delicious food cooked in the traditional way. Nearby is the delightful quaint, fishing village of Looe, with lots of lovely cafés & quaint pubs. In Fowey, we had a tour at a very interesting cider - making facility & bought plenty of samples. We also visited the amazing "Eden Project," which is about half an hour's drive away. The accommodation itself, is well appointed, clean & with excellent cooking facilities. We're just a couple, but as well as a double - bedroom, there are also bunk beds in the adjacent room. So, its ideal for young families. I've already recommended it to my son, for his wife & their two small children. We're definitely planning to go back next year! It's a 5 - star rating from us!

A wonderful break in a gorgeous location
We spent 4 nights in the very welcoming Beach House. The set up is excellent for visiting dogs. The decking area is spacious and secure. There are throws provided for the sofa, dog tags and hard floors throughout. The walk to the beach is short and there are endless walks round locally. The Beach House is warm, cosy, comfortable and has everything you need for a lovely welcoming stay. Information is excellent and lots of good advice / support from Leigh. Thank you so much and thank you for welcoming dogs on holiday. The local and surrounding area is fabulously dog welcoming too

A wonderful week by the sea
We spent a fantastic week in the Beach House, such a beautiful beachside apartment in Millendreath, and it couldn’t have been better. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What really stood out were the thoughtful little touches—Leigh and David have clearly gone above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and well looked after. They even included Netflix, which made for a perfect movie night during a dramatic storm! The bay is absolutely stunning and just a short walk from the apartment. You can hear the waves from the decking, which is incredibly calming. We went paddleboarding and swimming almost every day—it’s such a peaceful and friendly spot. The beach bar was a lovely bonus, serving great food in a relaxed setting. You can also BBQ on the beach. We walked into Looe a few times, which is picture-perfect. We had a delicious Sunday lunch at The Smugglers Cott (definitely book way ahead!). We also took a day trip to Plymouth, went bowling and caught a film at the cinema. We even visited a cat café—Cornwall's first! There’s so much to do in the area that we barely scratched the surface. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Very good accommodation
This was our third year staying at Millendreath, only wish we could have found this chalet earlier! Leigh was very helpful from start to finish, the chalet was clean , comfortable and well equipped. Our two daughters, their children and husbands, plus a good friend of my daughter’s, each had a chalet, but this was by far the best. Another good point is, there are only 4 steps up, a blessing for my wife. Our youngest daughter, with 3 children had 39 steps, but all enjoyed their stay at this unique holiday destination.

Wonderful!
From my first initial inquiry to staying at The Beach House to finally booking it, to then staying for a week , Leigh and David have been fabulous hosts. They answer ALL your questions whether they are mundane or, with hindsight, obvious, very quickly and politely. The Beach House pictures on their website don't lie. Modern with a warm local touch. Perfect for either a family like us (2 adults, 2 children) or couples wishing for a quiet retreat. It is very well equipped with everything you may, or may not, need during your stay. One particular thing that we liked most is the big wicker basket of games and books for all ages. Even in the room with bunk beds, there's another box of things to do for children. They really have thought through to make sure their guests feel like they are at home from home. Apart from using the beach at Millendreath every day, including the excellent restaurant and bar(s) and hiring of kayaks, during our stay of a week, we explored the local areas Looe, Talland Bay, plus a 55-minute drive to Newquay, the beautiful Golitha Falls, and we discovered the wonderful Screech Owl Sanctuary. Even at Millendreath, there are woods to explore, which take about 45 minutes to walk around in a loop. Tiny negative is the lack of reception for your mobile phone devices, etc, so you have to rely on WiFi at the house or at the Beach Schack. But, you know what? Sometimes, that isn't such a bad thing, is it? Enjoy the peace and quiet, and listen to the waves crashing in on the beach. Will definitely jump back at the chance of staying here again in the future. Thank you.

3 fabulous night break in this amazing home from home ! Fab decor throughout & fabulous location within 1 minute walking distance from the sea . The booking process was stress free & informative . Everything we needed for a few days break was provided & our girls ( dogs) really appreciated the Doggy Bed . Totally recommended & anticipate visiting again !!

Millendreath
Gorgeous beach house. Smelt so clean and fresh when we walked in.Everything you need is there. We came without the kids but we’d return with them. So light and airy in the shallet, The view was amazing and the little beach shack serves amazing food and drinks. Such a gorgeous place. Probably the best place I’ve stayed in Cornwall and I’ve been too lots.

Brilliant stay
We had a lovely 4 days at the Beach House, everything we needed and more was in the bungalow. So clean, comfy beds beautiful white fluffy towels. could not find any faults with the bungalow. Cannot wait to return, Thank you so much Leigh

We had another lovely 4 days at The Beach House. It was so clean and welcoming. Everything and more was there for us to use. The towels and bed linen was lovely and fresh. We loved the decor so thoughtful. Lovely Sunday lunch at the Beach Shack, really recommend the roast. Thank you Leigh, hope we can return soon.
